The emergence of the coronavirus (COVID-19) is an evolving situation with many unknowns, so we wanted to offer this resource to our existing and potential clients. Below you’ll find the answer to commonly asked questions about our operations during this pandemic.

We understand that in times like this, home improvement and landscape design can take a backseat to more pressing issues. We truly appreciate each and every customer that has chosen to support our business.

Is Ideal Turf still open?

Yes, we are still open. However, our employees are working from their individual homes due to recent “stay at home” orders recently put into effect in various Texas cities. It is important for us to support our employees during these times in addition to providing you with artificial turf.

How are design meetings taking place?

We are currently performing our appointments at the customers location taking measurements and presenting products. Fortunately, we can perform our quoting process while honoring social distancing. All our quoting process is done electronically.

Are scheduled installations still taking place?

Yes, our services are listed on the Essential Critical Infrastructure list. We are in contact with all our suppliers and able to get necessary supplies, therefore we are continuing our operations until further notice. We are also able to comply with social distancing requirements during artificial grass installations. The only thing that may cause an installation to be postponed would be inclement weather.

How are you handling installations that are in progress?

All active installations are proceeding as planned. The only thing that may cause an installation to be postponed would be inclement weather. Our crews practice social distancing and you will not have to be within 6 feet of any crew member. We want you and our crews to be safe.

Will Ideal Turf be able to weather the COVID-19 storm financially speaking?

YES! Without a doubt! Ideal Turf is a 7-year-old, debt-free, profitable, and healthy company with some of the lowest team member turnover in the industry. Our team is dedicated to continued improvement and customer satisfaction. We aren’t going anywhere.

We can help slow the spread of coronavirus in Texas by working together as a community. There are everyday preventative measures and practices that our team and all of us can employ to stay healthy:

  • Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth with unclean hands.
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
  • At home and at work, clean frequently touched surfaces.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Stay home if you are sick.

If you have any additional questions, would like to schedule an appointment (while still social distancing), or would like to speak with someone at Ideal Turf, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team at (800) 204-4650. We are available 7 days a week to serve you.
